The vase is a 12.5 inch tall ceramic piece in cobalt blue. It is in excellent condition. It has a hallmark underneath. I purchased this at a neighborhood antique store. It is in excellent vintage condition.
unknown Hello Delia: I am uploading a link and a couple of pictures for your review of a vase similar to mine that is on ebay. They seem to share the same mark. I just want to be sure we are not missing anything. The vase is much larger than mine -- 18 inches compared to 12.5 inches. And of course, the seller can say anything, but please let me know if you think these are the same. I looked at the mark and they seem to be the same, as far as I can tell. Thank you.

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.

Hi Rhonda,
Yes, that's the same mark. It's mind-boggling to me what some people will post and seems that eBay is turning into more of a retail site. Once an item sells they take the price down and don't disclose what things sell for, and I can't see how long this item has been posted online.
In reading the notes, they said that a 1stDibs dealer sold one with an asking price of $3,000 "almost immediately"...that's also a retail site that usually doesn't disclose what things sold for.
All that said, I can see increasing the value I gave on this a little bit, to $400-600 but would really hesitate to go any higher.
Hello Delia:
Yes, ebay is wild. I just thought if the marks were the same, I might see if you thought it was prudent to increase the value. I am going to watch that item. Thanks for the adjustment.
Anytime. Chinese buyers are really watching and trying to buy stuff and pushing the prices of things up but I'd be cautious; lots of auction houses who sell to Asian buyers are reporting a higher than usual occurrence to failure to pay.
