This is an early 20th century woven floor carpet rug measuring 11'6" x 9'4" that was made in China in the Art Deco manner dating to the 1930's. From the images the material appears to be wool. The predominant color is a dark blue and there are decorative circle motifs and symbolisms throughout with a double border. This could potentially have been a rug in a monastery, however that provenance will not impact value or sale-ability.
