3 Ceramic pieces- 1 bowl, 2 candleholders Trimmed with 24k gold. Made in USA All in good shape, no chips or dings
From Aunts estate
This is a vintage 3-piece American pottery console set from the 1950s. The type of glaze is referred to as wet gold or weeping gold. Wares with this glaze were quite popular in the Mid 20th century. Usually they are marked 22k gold warranted and not 24k gold. Although the gold is real, there is no longer a precious metal meltdown value as the cost to extract the gold would exceed the value of the amount extracted. The estimate is based on actual past auction sale records of comparables and is for the set altogether.
