Boys dresser and matching mirror bought some time in the 1950s. Solid wood in mostly good condition, but there is a crack on one side.
My mom bought it for my much older brother and it was handed down to me.
Thanks very much, Lon, for letting me know about the inscriptions. If it were in a more permanent ink or stamp I might think it was a pattern or model name but that doesn't sound quite right. If you want this appraisal to include dimensions, please forward them to me (height, width, depth, in inches) and I'll update this but I do not need them to complete the appraisal. I will say that the crack in the side keeps the value down; it would be closer to $100-150 or $150-200 without the crack.

Someone appeared to have written in pencil "Emerson 441" on the mirror and "442" on the dresser.
No stamps on any drawers or the mirror. I looked all over to find out who the maker is and could not find any indication.
