The back side of the globe looks like it has been singed by the heat of the flame and I've assumed as such in my valuation. If this is not the case, please advise and I'll amend ASAP.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
An antique American brass oil lamp
late 19th/early 20th Century
With floral painted glass shade
18 inches high
CONDITION: converted to electric. Back of shade appears to have sustained some heat damage and is now discolored.

The globe appears to be hand painted as you can feel the texture of the paint strokes and tiny dots of paint in center of flowers.
