Dear Cheryl,
Thank you for calling upon the experts at Mearto to assist you with an evaluation on your Louis C. Tiffany Furnaces, Inc. Favrile vase 165. The piece was produced circa 1905, it's amazing that your husband never knew of it as it has always been considered 'in good taste'.
Similar examples have been offered at auction and regularly sell in the range of $500USD to $600USD. These examples, while of the same form as this, usually bear a different color of enamel at the base, more gold and green; because of the unusual and striking red to purple, I think this example might fetch a smidgen more at auction. Thank you for submitting it, it really is a little treasure. If you have any follow-up questions, do let me know.
Kindest Regards,
Erin-Marie
