What does this mean?

Dear Stacey,

What you have here is a Japanese Champleve vase made around 1900. These vases have their inspiration in old Chinese bronzes from ancient times but are not that old. Many people believe they are Chinese because of this resemblance but they are Japanese in origin. These were often sold in pairs and were made for export to the west. I believe if your vase came to auction it would fetch a price around the estimate.
You find more examples on google.
