Hey! Has an old Buddha made of alabaster and wood. It is nicely decorated. Can you say how old it can be and what can it be worth? It is about 43 cm high The foot is about 30 times 22 cm. Weight 4639 grams Grateful for answer Ove

Dear Ove,
Your buddha is made in Burma in late 19th early 20th century I believe. Its indeed made of alabaster and gilded wood. Stones are usually made of glass. Its a big statue most likely made for a village temple. Its nicely done and had good expression. I would figure it will made around the estimate in a good auction with online visibility.
