What does this mean?

Dear Jason,

Thank you for your request. The presented object is a porcelain bowl as candy or cookie pedestal. It is decorated with an iridescent glaze and a handpainted flower decor. This piece is hallmarked R. S. and Germany. This hallmark was used by the manufacturer Reinhold Schlegelmilch in Germany between 1914 and 1945. The porcelain painter signed with his name "C. Krans". Sadly no further information of the biography is mentioned for this artist in auction records or similar databases.
This piece is in good condition and there are no serious damages visible.
An estimation would be between 30 to 60 USD.
This estimation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.

With best regards,
Georg
