Description

This old Hawken has been in my family probably since my great great grandfather emigrated through St Louis in 1852. I'm not sure if he bought the gun then, I know he looked at some land near St louis that was later bought by Bush for a brewery. He was heading west to the German settlements in Missouri so he didn't need a .56 cal so he bought a.36 cal.
