While the ruby colored glass is a good match to each other, the cake plate doesn't look Murano to me but the footed stand does, suggesting these may not have "started life out together," as we say in the trade.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:

A ruby and clear pressed glass cake plate on a probably later hand-blown ruby glass footed stand
Plate American or European, late 19th/early 20th Century
Stand from Vetreria Murano, Italy, mid 20th Century
The circular plate with undulating ruby notched rim centering eight ruby lozenges to the sides and a rayed pattern to the base.
The circular-section foot with hatched patterning and three downscrolling feet. Together with Vetreria Murano card.
cake plate 25 cm (9-3/4 inches) diameter; footed stand 8 cm (3-1/8 inches) high
CONDITION: Both appear to be in very good condition
PROVENANCE: Inherited
