Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a terracotta bottle mounted with copper, the lid mad of brass with an elephant as a finial. Judging from the patina and traces of use this lidded bottle or vase dates to the mid 20th century, most likely made in southern India. Similar is produced today and demand is rather limited. The estimate is based on comparable items actually sold at auction. There is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to it.
