This basket of fruit appears to be a Capodimonte, although there is no mark on it anywhere. I did read that some of them so do not bear a mark, so I would like to verify its authenticity, if possible. It measures 7" wide and 5" tall. The round base that it sits on measures 3 inches. It is in excellent condition.

Yes, while it is true that Capodimonte did not mark everything, there are other companies who made things in the same style and marked pieces generally bring a premium price over unmarked pieces. Without a marking, purchase receipt or confirmation from a Capodimonte maker, a firm attribution is impossible.
