Light colored wooded table that has leather topper. Slides out then folds open and closed for game table. 34 inches high, 39inches long
Was found on side of the street in New Oreans Garden District
This is an antique, late 19th century to turn to of the 20th century, turned leg oak wood expanding game table with 'hidden' compartment under the top for holding gaming supplies that was found in New Orleans. The apron of the table is carved with a stylized hourglass form interspersed with a circle. This appears, from the images, to be in very good condition for age. The estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' can be higher and vary.
