Carved wood upholstered chair With casters
From my grandmother, she had acquired it from my grandfather’s family, was in the house which has been owned by my family since 1860.

A Renaissance revival carved walnut or mahogany side chair
American, third quarter 19th century (1850-1875)
The broken pitch-pediment crest over a rectangular back with inset tombstone-form upholstered panel and over-the-rail upholstered seat, reel- and reed turned front legs and squared rear legs, on casters.

CONDITION: appears to be in good condition; upholstery may be a later replacement.
