Cloth seat width 22in, curved arm rests that connect to the carved front legs, cloth back 18in at the widest point and 19in high. Round metal hardware all the cloth seam of both the seat and the back rest, resembling thumb racks.
This chair belonged to my grandmother who was born in 1939, and has lived in the northwest US all of her life. She lived in California when she married at age 17. There is a California state law tag on the seat bottom cover stapled on.
Good evening, Starla,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
I am not sure if the height you have given - 19 inches - is the height of the back or height of the seat but typically appraisals give the highest height...I suspect it may be closer to 39 inches? I will be happy to amend the appraisal if you can give me the correct height, but it won't impact the value of the appraisal.
