Wooden
Bought in 90's. My mom handed it down to me.
This is a 20th century, circa 1930, side or entry way table that is done in a Napoleon III Revival style. The top is done with wood veneer featuring the wood grain, which appears to be a fruit, satin or tulip wood. The four legs are decorated with gilded metal mounts in the form of 'terms' or female busts that terminate at the base in human feet. The base has stretcher bars that extend to all four legs. The estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' can be higher and vary.
Let me know if these images are satisfactory!
Please provide clear, in-focus, close-up images of the mounts on the legs as well as a better, more well-lit image of the underside to show the hardware/joinery used. Under the stretcher bars at base, where they attach to the leg will be helpful too.
