made by Higgins, McCloud & Martin, Troy, N.Y., after 1861
Of circular section and baluster form with domed cover, single swing handle and serpentine spout with nipped tip, the cover marked "Higgins, McCloud & Martin, Troy, N.Y. / cover pat'd Jan 1, 1861"; underside marked 8.

CONDITION: appears to be in generally good condition with some oxidation and pitting to cast iron
