What does this mean?

Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a mid 20th century japanese kutani porcelain sake cup, decorated in underglaze blue and enamel colours on the inside, depicting chrysanthemum flowers and stylized leafs with additional gilding. The Chrysanthemum is one of the symbols of Japan. The cup is marked 九谷 at the underside.
