What does this mean?

Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a late 20th or early 21st century chinese pot metal vase with a Da Ming Xuan De Nian Zhi 大明 宣德 年製 reign mark at the base. The overall execution is rather simple and the cast shows a number of smaller defects and corrosion. These vases were made in huge numbers for export to western countries and sold on "antique fairs". The estimate is based on similar sold at auction. There is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to it.
