A 20th century Chinese Famille Rose porcelain Rose Tea/ Candy Jar (5 3/4" x 4.5”). Pink roses porcelain are a type of Chinese porcelain introduced in the 18th century and defined by the presence of pink color overglaze enamel.
It is decorated with a central scene showing a typical cosmological and mythological iconography within a border of the plate very typical of flowery greenery. They all represent traditional symbols of luck, protection fertility and longevity. It is signed in the bottom.
Judging from the techniques and decorations this might be a 20th century reproduction.
Fine gilding throughout. Perfect Condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
