Description

Two chairs and one table with what I believe is ivory inlays. I got these from my grandparents who had them for years. Table has some wear on the top, where a glass used to protect the table top. beautiful inlays all around the table and chairs and the back of the chairs. These are way over 50 years old.

Dimensions

Chairs are 25 inches long by 25 inch wide. Back of chair is 33 inches high. Seat height is 12 inches. Table is 33 inches in diameter

A suite of Chinese export ivory and mother-of-pearl inlaid hardwood (possibly Hongmu) furniture
made for the export market, first half 20th Century, comprising:
Two low armchairs with squared paneled backs with arched crests and inlaid circular panel depicting two dragons, tall pierced lattice arms, rounded rail inlaid with seaweed decoration, all raised on short cabriole legs. Profuse leaf inlay decoration overall. With red silk squab cushions.
Together with a table with similar circular dragon inlay to the center within a foliate rim border, rounded rail inlaid with foliate decoration, all on cabriole legs.
Chairs: 33 inches overall height, seat height 12 inches; 25 inches wide by 25 inches deep
Table (probably 16-18 inches tall) 33 inches diameter
CONDITION: all appear to be in generally good condition; some
