A pair of ceramic/porcelain (?) ginger jars, that are decorated in blue colored Chinese designs, which appear to be hand painted. The jars have similar but not the exact designs on each. Each jar is over 12 inches high and almost 5 inches in diameter at their widest. They have removable lids, decorated with foo dogs on top. There are four Chinese characters on the bottom of each jar. The jars are in excellent condition.
I inherited these from my Dad, but otherwise do not know the provenance.
