Hello Jeffrey,
I’m very glad that you chose Mearto for your online appraisal,
Considering the photographs, overall pattern, composition and the marks, I concluded that this is a Chinese Landscape Painting on Paper, placed in a silkish fabric frame as well as a wooden outer frame. The piece dates back to the period between 1930-1960. The decorational elements of the piece includes a depcition of valley surroundered by large rock hills and countless trees as well as a fisherman and possibly his humble house. This type of decoration was a common theme in Chinese painting since the early 14th century. Of course the more eleborate examples were created during the Qing dynasty. This piece of your is of course considerably modern but adapts a classical style with numerous details and an appropriate colour palette. When we investifate the seals we can see that they were used from early 20th century till the mid-century. The piece is painted on a paper in a over average quality. The piece has a silksh fabric outer layer too, this was classical in prestigious works of the time. In classical style this material was natural silk. The piece is in good condition without visible problems.
