Thanks for your request for an appraisal at mearto. Your painting looks like a watercolor on silk although glass screen makes it very hard to see if it is a print. The painting is made in first half 20th century and shows a house of a Scholar reading. Its well executed. We tried to identify the red marks but were not able to read it. I believe the quality of the painting is not that well that we are looking for a top class artist. In almost every village in China an artist is working and not all are very sought after of course. These paintings can be sold at a local auction house, buyer need to see it in person; too much copy's, prints and mediocre Chinese artworks are around. If two buyers see the quality of the painting, price can go above estimate.
