This piece has some wear to the bottom of the feet. Otherwise it is in very good condition. It was given to me in the late 1970's by a colleague who had and import/export company in Hong Kong. It is 10" long, 6 1/2" tall and 5 1/2' wide.

Dear Diane,
You have a modern Chinese pillow. Its made in the form of a doll. These porcelain pillows were among other things used in Opium use in late 19th century to rest on while under influence of the opium. Your pillow is a mocern copy made for decorative purposes. Marks does not say much about period so its never very important except when a piece is mark & period which is rare. mark is not very clear so I cannot tell what it says but, as I said, its not so important in this case. Nice decorative piece and many people love them. Not very expensive but if you want to sell it I thing there will be some interest.
Dear Diane,
I always recommend bringing items to a local auction house with a prescription to an online platform like live auctioneers or invaluable. That way you are sure the international attention is there. An account on Ebay and selling yourself can also be a nice choice. You make you own lots and descriptions and the fee is more reasonable then a physical auction house.
If you feel you have some older stuff we can evaluate them here in mearto so you can make a good description and know what the price should be.
Regards,
Simon Breider
How do I proceed submitting this for auction? I do have more items to have appraised.
