This vase has been in our family since at least the mid 1800s. It appears to be in very good condition.
Approximately 41 cm high. Its circumference at its widest point is 46.5 cm.
This item was given to my mother by here grandmother. My mother was born in 1910, so I estimate it has been in our family since at least the mid 1800s. I don't know its history prior to that.
Hello Bennett,
I’m very glad that you chose Mearto for your online appraisal,
Considering the photographs, overall pattern, motifs and the colours, I concluded that this is an Entirely Hand Painted Chinese Porcelain Vase, dating back to early-mid 19th century. Birds decorations.
This is a very interesting piece as it mixes both orientalist and European styles. Lines of both decorations are poorly drawn and you can see that this was a mass produced piece made by using the least possible time. In very good condition without faults.
Entirely hand painted.
Dimensions: 41 x 46.5 cm
Condition: In very good condition without faults.
Provenance: Inherited
200-400$.
