What does this mean?

Dear Diane,

What you have is a modern Chinese porcelain vas. Its made after 1990. The period it is referring to ( a copy of ) is the Republic period in China, around 1925. Unfortunately its not from this period otherwise you would have had an expensive vase. That is why these vases are copied in later days; the original one's are hard to find for collectors. Its hand-painted and has a nice quality.
