Came together I believe, it is a round painting on wood of ancient chinese soldiers. The both measure to 34m by 34m and hung up on the wall.
It was bought in China at a dealer or gallery
Thank you for submitting your items for appraisal. This appears to be a pair of chinese lacquer tondos or lids, decorated with kylins / kirin / qilins 麒麟 . One showing a woman riding a qilin, the other depicting a chinese official on a qilin (?), the photo is rather blurred. Both are mounted on gilt wood western style stands. Date probably late Qing dynasty, gold colour painted mounts later. The estimate is based on similar items offered or sold at auction. "Asking prices" in the trade can be much higher and vary.
