Undetermined Wood, approx 3ft high.
Purchased 30 years ago from an antiques auction for $1800. It has remained in our family home since then.
Good afternoon, Cheyenne,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
The market for antiques has changed considerably over the past few decades and many pieces that were once worth several hundred/a few thousand dollars are no longer nearly as valuable; your table is one of those pieces that has declined in value. If it has leaves and extends, it may be worth more so please let me know and I'll amend the value as necessary. I would also be happy to include more specific / precise dimensions.
Based on the photographs and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A Continental oak extending dining table
early 20th Century
The rectangular molded edged top over an expanding frame, with four reeded baluster legs with paw feet and a medial support leg. (leaves?)
[dimensions]
PROVENANCE: acquired at auction 30 years ago
CONDITION: appears to be in good condition, commensurate with age and use.
$300-500*
*represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary.
Please let us know if you have additional information about this piece, or other items to appraise, and thank you for using Mearto.
