wooden antique clock with original glass, face and wind key
great grandmother
Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be an american "gingerbread" parlor or kitchen clock. A number of manufacturers like E.N.Welch or Waterbury or others produced these inexpensive clocks. The ornate design was impressed with heavy steel presses into the wood. Around 1900 they would cost 2- 4 US $. Today many of these mass-produced kitchen clocks appear regularly at auction, selling within the price range listed above. There is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to it.
