Dear Laurent,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. My sincere apologies for the delay with the appraisal.
The presented object appears to be a collection of around 200 to 300 fashion design drawings from the 1930s/ 1940s. Mainly the drawings were made in black-white and around 60 drawings are colored. They are stamped with "Création de Modèles, Braques de Paris, Paris". A . Posner is an unidentified fashion designer and other drawings by this artist are in museum and university collections (https://specialcollections.catalogue.dmu.ac.uk/records/F/004).
Comparable objects were recently not offered and sold on the international auction market.
This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 250 to 500 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.
With kind regards,
George
The Fair Market Value indicated of 250-500 USD is for the entire collection I assume? Thanks.
Dear Laurent,
Thank you for your email. The estimate is given for the whole collection.
With kind regards,
George
I am uploading three additional photos of different signatures and fashion house stamps.
Different artists but the signatures will be the Fashion House owner who would approve each design.
At least 200/300 drawings, mostly black an white and about 60 colored ones.
