Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
An antique copper cauldron
unattributed maker, probably European, late 19th Century
Of circular section, with molded top rim and gently sloping sides; the rim with engraved star decoration; one side lacking loop handle. Otherwise appears to be in unmarked.
Overall height: 12 inches; diameter: 13 inches
CONDITION: Lacking one loop handles but otherwise this appears to be in good condition with some wear commensurate to age and use.

There is only that one round handle at the top. Looks like it no longer has the other loop and handle I assume. Thanks
