Creche , Santos figurines
Carved 17 century figurines made to be posed , the Mary figurine has real human hair. The figurines are 18 inches (Mary and Joseph), These figurines are in perfect condition, two of Joseph's fingers have been carefully restored.
Been in my family for many generations but health problems force sale.

These do not look like they are as old as from the 17th Century; I would put them at mid 19th (circa 1850) at the earliest.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
Three Santos painted wood and composition Creche figures
Continental, mid 19th Century
Comprising Joseph, Mary and the Baby Jesus, with carved and painted faces and articulated features, wearing silk garments.
Mary and Joseph each 18 inches tall
CONDITION: client purports these to be in excellent condition; minor repairs to Joseph's hands
