A curved silver Arabian knife with fitting sheath and a box to go with it.
28cm long, 18cm wide, 3-4cm in depth.
Dear Sebastian,
Thank you for your help and patience.
The presented object appears to be an Arabian Jimbiya dagger made in the 20th century. The blade was made out of steel and the handle and the scabbard has silver mountings. This dagger was probably made as a representative present.
Comparable objects were recently offered and sold on the international auction market.
This piece is in good condition and no severe damage is visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 100 to 200 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.
With kind regards,
George
Thanks for the information. Just uploaded a few pictures of the blade.
With kind regards,
Sebastian
