Old Saber. Wooden handle. Blade slightly pitted. Some unknown markings on blade. Scabbard appears to be brass, with 7 jewels fastened by being pinned over from edges. Silver or similar smaller pieces affixed to both sides of scabbard, all with engravings. Loops attached to scabbard edges as apparent tie down locations. Unknown history, other than the item had been kept for years by a retired gentleman who recently passed away.
