Done in 1909, acquired by my grandfather in 1938, has been passed down the family ever since. My father brought it to America around 1986. My parents and myself are Dutch immigrants.

The presented object appears to be a charcoal and pastel drawing on paper with the measurements of 25 x 17 inches. The drawing depicts the roots of a tree. It is signed by Dirk FILARSKI (1885-1964) and dated 1909.
Artworks of this artist were recently offered and sold on the international and national auction market.
This piece is in good condition and there are no serious damages visible.
An estimation would be between 800 to 1.200 USD.
