Hi Jason,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
In the early 1990s (1990–1992), Nature Made Nutritional Products released Superman‑themed children’s chewable vitamins that included collectible cards. These cards featured classic DC Comics character art from the 1982 DC Comics Style Guide by José Luis García‑López (penciler) and Dick Giordano (inker).
The cards were included inside specially marked bottles of Superman Children’s Chewable Vitamins (shaped like the Superman emblem). A Limited Mint Edition version of these cards was produced as hand‑numbered sheets, with only 250 copies made. Your example being “TM 27 of 250” means this is the 27th of those 250 copies.
These cards are nostalgic pop‑culture‑tie‑in collectibles rather than high‑value comic book originals. They’re collectible primarily because of the character (Superman), the limited run, and the unique tie‑in promotion, not because they’re rare comic art.
A few from this edition have come to auction; when they do, they usually sell for about $200.
Please let us know if you have additional items to appraise, or questions/concerns, and thank you again for using Mearto.
