Marble top. 2 glass doors. One middle door. Curved. Metal artwork.top is cracked 40” H.- 5 ft long. 19”. Widest We was told that was on the titanic. Built around 1913 or 1914. This is a reproduction of the same that was on the titanic

This is an antique early 20th century serpentine front and marble topped credenza, or sideboard server that is made in a French Louis style. Although a story from a prior owner attaches this piece to the ill-fated Titanic ship somehow, there is no supporting documentation to corroborate the story. the majority of the furniture pieces on the Titanic were produced by cabinet-makers, Harland & Wolff of Belfast, Ireland. The credenza has metal or gilded mounts throughout the piece and a vitruvian scrol bandl along the top front. However the metal mounts are not of comparable quality to pieces that would have been on the Titanic nor items made by Harland & Wolff. The style of metal mounts is less detailed and quickly cast. They do appear to be more in the manner of Louis reproduction furniture from China. The estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' can be higher and vary.

I tried. I did find one Similar to this one but not this one exactly. Like I said it was just a story that was told to us by the woman who gave this to us. I know at the time she paid $5000 for this.
