Hi Geoff,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
The Rococo Revival was a 19th-century movement that brought back the decorative and ornate styles of 18th-century Rococo art and design, particularly in furniture, architecture, and decorative arts. It was most popular during the Victorian era (1830s–1870s) and was especially prominent in France, Britain, and the United States.
This table, with a vibrantly veneered top and molded edge, is a very nice example but the market for this style of furniture is quite thin - most tables like it that come to auction usually sell for less than $1,000, sometimes less than $500, though yours is nicer than most and warrants an estimate between $500-800.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A Rococo revival carved walnut and walnut veneered occasional table
