This is an antique, early 20th century, Jacobean or Renaissance Revival style furniture dining suite by the esteemed American manufacturer, Kittinger. Kittinger was established first in Buffalo, NY by 2 brothers in 1866 after the Civil War. The company was producing 18th century reproduction furniture by 1885. In 1913, the owner's son-in-law, Irvine J. Kittinger took over the company and after 6 generations it still remains actively in business. Renaissance and Jacobean Reviva style furniture was a popular design decor trend in homes from 1900 - 1930's. This set consists of an extending dining table, 5 side chairs and one arm chair, a china cabinet and a sideboard server. The estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' can be higher and vary.
