THIS IS A DINING ROOM SET, on the bottom of the table the only markings it has is # 129, on the back of ? boutique? the only markings it has is NO. 129, letting us know it was part of the dining set, table comes with 6 chairs 1/6 is a masters chair, the chairs were re-seated in the late 1960's we think because of the type of material used, but all wooden parts of the set is all original and naturally aged, the handles and knobs on the boutique we believe was originally bronze, but were removed at some point and spray painted gold, and then reinstalled. this set is also from the ESTER LANDRY estate. We know this particular set was her mothers before she was born in 1926,so we know it pre dates that, we don't know where its from, who made it,when it was made, what price tag it sold for, what its worth at auction, private buyer, or to be insured at. My mother wants to sell, but wants to make sure the furniture is going to folks who will take good care of it, and we want to make sure she isn't scammed on the price of sale. all pieces are in mint condition. has all natural shine.
it is part of ESTER LANDRY estate from DONALDSONVILLE LOUISIANA, she was 92yrs. 4-30-1926 -- 11- 23- 2018, she willed everything to my mother ROSE MARIE FALCON,who's been bombarded with low offers to buy pieces not the set, we want her to get a fair price for the pieces of furniture in the estate.
