Is it worth having it refinished.....the quites to refinish is about how much the table is worh.....I paod $15 bucks for it
Thanks for the dimensions - I've added them in.
The Red Lion Table Co was started in 1917 or so and made furniture through the 1950s and 60s so it's a little hard to say for certain when this was made but judging on the style and how it compares to other furniture made in the US in the 30s and 40s, I would guess it was made then. During WWII it made radio cabinets exclusively.
You got this for a steal! However, if you are thinking of selling it, I would leave it "as is" and leave the cost of the refinishing to the buyer. It won't increase the value of the table proportionate to the cost of the refinishing (a $500 table does not necessarily become a $1,000 table with a $500 refinish) and a new refinish could set off some suspicious red flags for potential buyers.
Let me know if you have any more questions.
The table is 64in long width is 46 in and the height is 31 in
Could you tell me when this table wss made
