Late 1960’s to early 70’. Wood table with chairs, green upholstery (original) These are the high back chairs. Table in perfect conditions. Chairs look good but one has been repaired
My grandmother owned and I am the 2nd owner
Good afternoon, Nancy,
Thank you for your patience in awaiting my valuation!
I’m not able to make a maker’s attribution to either the chairs or the table based on the photographs you’ve attached but Midcentury Modern furniture is still fairly popular at auction these days, having the expanding capability is a nice feature of the table, and the chairs, for the most part, seem to be in good shape…it’s great that they have the original upholstery.
Based on the photographs and information provided, and subject to examination, you have:
A set of four late Midcentury Modern walnut side chairs
Circa late 1960s
Upholstered in “Thurlow Olive” wool
CONDITION: Repairs to one, appear to retain their original upholstery.
PROVENANCE: owned by client’s grandmother
$300-500
Together with
A Midcentury Modern walnut circular expanding table
Circa late 1960s
With detachable base
CONDITION: client represents this to be in excellent condition
PROVENANCE: owned by client’s grandmother
$500-800
Please let us know if you have additional items to appraise, and thank you for using Mearto.
I’ve added a picture of the label, the legs to the table and a picture of under the table
Thank you
