My mother worked for Disney Studios in Los Angeles the early 1940’s. These were given to her at the time. Original Mylar, matting and seals of authenticity are represented. The one of Peter Pig was dedicated to my mother ( see description). These are in extremely good condition considering their age. I look forward to learning more about them.

Hi Marley,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
Disney’s “Two Happy Amigos” (1953), was a re-release title used for the package film The Three Caballeros (1944). The original 1944 film was called The Three Caballeros, part of Walt Disney’s wartime “Good Neighbor” project to strengthen cultural ties with Latin America. In 1953, Disney re-released a shortened version under the title “Two Happy Amigos”, which focused mostly on Donald Duck and José Carioca (the Brazilian parrot). The third character, Panchito Pistoles (the Mexican rooster), was largely left out in this cut.
Other Disney cels from these films that feature JUST José Carioca that have sold in recent auctions have brought fair-market prices ranging from $250-500; the notes on the mat of this cell refine that number a bit: $400-600.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
