Hi Wanda,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
Dumbo the Flying Elephant is a classic Disney ride based on the 1941 animated film Dumbo. The ride is a whimsical aerial carousel where guests board ride vehicles shaped like Dumbo, the lovable flying elephant. Each Dumbo vehicle is attached to rotating arms, allowing riders to control how high or low they fly using a lever inside their elephant. The ride captures the magic of Dumbo’s story, where he overcomes adversity and learns to fly with his oversized ears. It’s a simple, family-friendly attraction designed to bring joy to younger guests while evoking nostalgia for older visitors.
Disney opened the Dumbo the Flying Elephant ride on October 1, 1971, at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World, Florida. However, the original version of the ride debuted earlier at Disneyland in California on August 16, 1955—a month after the park's grand opening.
Original Disney rides are highly sought after by collectors of Disney memorabilia, with other rides bringing high sums, including a WDW rocketship car from the “StarJets” attraction in Tomorrowland ($35,000); a Haunted Mansion stretching portrait ($150,000); Small World Audio/Animatronic Doll (unsold but estimated at $80,000-90,000); It's a Small World facade pennant ($11,000); Jungle Cruise Piranha ($5,000); even general parts of Disneyland/ WDW can bring high prices: $4,000 for a Main Street Bench and $4,000 for a Main Street USA Trolley placard.
In the right selling situation (well-publicized Disneyana auction by such auction houses as Heritage Auctions (Dallas) or Van Eaton Galleries (LA), I could easily see this selling for between $40,000 and $60,000.

Thanks.
If your paperwork identifies a different date for this, please attach a photo of the paperwork and I'll update this ASAP.
I have all the paperwork to show the bill if sale and the year it was built. The photos are uploaded
Thank you.
As it turns out, this was from Disneyland NOT Disney World, which does make a difference in the value, which I've updated with this additional information.
Have a great day,
Delia
