The presented object appears to be a painting made in oil paint on canvas with the measurements of 27 x 14 inches. The motif of a woman undressing, dressing or bathing is connected with the depiction of the godess Venus since Greek antiquity. The iconography and motif of a woman looking at herself in the mirror is a motif connected with depictions of the beauty of the woman but also with the impermanence of beauty and the life itself. This painting was stylistically made around the 1920. The signature in Cyrillic letters reads "Ивановь" which would be translated Ivanov, Ivanow, or Ivanoff. Sadly no artist mentioned in reference books or auction result databases fits with the motif, style, or signature so the artist remains unidentified.
