18k gold Dragon Brooch, apprx 3" long. Weight: 27.45g. Acid test verified. Green gemstone eye. Pink gemstones register as diamonds on generic tester. Jewelers mark on back (sketch pictured): "750 MADE" top line on 7 is very hard to see, or probably just not there. "MADE" appears to be part of rectangular mold, as it is not stamped inward - "750" stamped to left separately.

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
It is a beautiful brooch. Such vintage jewellery are being offered at auction on a regular basis.
The brooch is made of 18 kt gold and set with coloured gemstones as eyes and decoration. The diamonds are quite small and it is hard to tell the exact colour, clarity and size from the photos.
The brooch has a lovely smart design and was probably made in the middle of the 1900s. It is not possible to determine who the maker is based on the information and marks described.
I believe that the brooch due to its smart design would attract the attention of both collectors and dealers if it came up for auction.
The estimate provided is for a well-advertised specialised online jewellery auction, where I believe the brooch has the best chance of realising its fullest potential. However, there is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the dragon brooch. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions. I’m happy to help.
