Got this as a hand me down from my parents. I remember them having it when I was a child 42 years ago. Not sure where they got it.

I can't make out the stencil mark either but this is certainly American.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A Classical Revival style mahogany veneered mirrored bureau
American, late 19th/early 20th Century
The rectangular top surmounted by a mirrored backsplash with shelf top, the corresponding case fitted with one deep long drawer over three long drawers, all on short square tapered legs, on casters (wheels). Back indistinctly stamped.
64 inches overall height, 43 inches wide, 20 inches deep
CONDITION: condition appears to be good, with wear commensurate to age and use
