Good evening, Thomas,
Thank you for submitting photos for appraisal at Mearto.
You have a Colonial Revival mahogany double-pedesta desk, probably mid 20th century. The white spots on the back are mildew, which may be wiped off with a damp cloth. This is quite a useful piece and can be used without worrying about devaluing it, though it does not have tremendous value in the current market.
I hope this information is useful; please let us know if you have other questions or if we can be of additional assistance.
Many thanks again for using Mearto.
Thank you fir the quick response curious if the value goes up if it is part of a bedroom set which I have.
It might go up in value if sold as part of a set. Please submit additional photographs so I can properly assess. Thank you!
sorry, that should read 'double-pedestal desk'
